The A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute oversees nano-focused educational programs for the Drexel community, from NSF IGERT, RET, and REU programs to the MESC international master course.
For Drexel Students
Drexel University offers a variety of courses related to processes and technologies at the nano- and micro- scales, as well as a specialization track in Nanoscale Materials & Nanotechnology for students in the Materials Science & Engineering Department.
Drexel students may also be interested in the Erasmus Mundus Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (MESC) program.
For Current MESC Students
Drexel is a host institution for students in year two of the MESC program. Additionally, MESC students may apply to participate in a summer internship opportunity at Drexel. For more information about Drexel’s materials program and traveling to Philadelphia as part of MESC, click here.
DNI, in coordination with the University of Pennsylvania, previously hosted an NSF Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program called RET-NANO. At this time, we are no longer actively recruiting participants for the RET-NANO program (see archived program information here). You can search for other RET programs by region at http://www.retnetwork.org/ret_programs.php.
